TRAVEL GUIDE

Labuan War Cemetery

This is the largest war grave in Malaysia with 3,908 graves of fallen soldiers. Most of the soldiers were Australians, British, Indian and New Zealanders. A memorial service is held on Remembrance Day every year, and visited by war veterans and families of war victims. The lawns are beautifully kept and visitors will appreciate the serenity of the place as they seek to understand the vanity of the death of so many brave young men.
